The Delta Delta Chapter of Sigma Nu participates in and hosts philanthropic events throughout the year, including THON, the world’s largest student-run philanthropy.  Each year the Delta Delta Chapter hosts Grilled Cheese for Cheese that benefits the Michael J. Delo scholarship fund and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  The event is held in memory of deceased brother Michael Delo who passed away from leukemia in 2007.  Apart from hosting philanthropies, the brothers of the Delta Delta Chapter participate in and support various philanthropies run by other Greek organizations such as the Zeta Spikes, Volleyball Tournament, Delta Gamma Anchor Splash, and the Theta Chi K.I.C.K.S Soccer Tournament.
